The guiding light for pressure vessel design is safety throughout the product’s life cycle. Factors such as the materials’ stress limits, weld joint coefficients and test pressures guide the design.

Makron has broad experience of design work and calculations for customer projects in the pulp and cleantech industries, for example.

We ensure the strength of the pressure vessel by performing technical calculations, using analytical or finite-element method. We pay specific attention to loads and changes in conditions, such as the use, maintenance, wear and corrosion of the pressure vessel. When needed, we factor in any external impacts such as fire and earthquakes.

We also offer consultancy services related to your existing drawings. We check the welding symbols and joints to make sure they meet the requirements set by the standards. Additionally, we can help you upgrade your existing systems by calculating the strength of the pressure vessel and designing the necessary changes.
